On May 25-26, 2018，invited by Prof. Jiang, Prof. Yue Zhang from University of Leicester gave a talk about "the 2020 5G-PPP Phase2 project of the EU horizon: Internet of Radio Light (IoRL)". The talk mainly introduced the long distance radio head system based on 5G millimeter wave system, which can be effectively integrated into various types of LED intelligent lighting systems. A wireless optical front-end device, an adaptive high efficiency transmission technology and an intelligent software definition network which can be integrated into LED lighting system are designed.
