On December 30, 2019, Prof. Pei Xiao from University of Surrey gave a talk about "Wireless Network Slicing". Network slicing is an essential technique in 5G networks, which enables the multiplexing of virtualized and independent logical networks on the same physical network infrastructure. This report introduced the significance, the basic idea and the biggest challenges of network slicing detailedly.
